The key fact: the central restaurant (Jaafaiy) is run by an Egyptian head chef, and the kitchen operates halal. This is structurally significant. The resort describes beach villa pools as “surrounded by bushes”, and they are. But we want to be straight with you: the natural bush height does not, on its own, provide full visual privacy from neighbouring villas. You can see, and be seen. This matters for Muslim couples and women using the private pool in modest swimwear.

Here is what we experienced directly: we requested a villa with more separation from neighbours. The resort’s response was immediate and practical. They installed a full-length physical screen along the garden perimeter. An improvised solution, yes. But the screen was effective, complete visual privacy, exactly as needed, and the fact that the team acted without hesitation, without making us feel like an inconvenience, says something genuine about how this property treats its Muslim guests.

What this means for your booking: the natural landscaping alone may not be enough. But the resort has demonstrated it will act when you ask, concretely, not vaguely. For Muslim travellers, these points are not yet confirmed in publicly available sources. Ask before booking, not after arrival.

1. Spa gender separation. Women’s-only treatment hours, or fully private room booking with a female therapist only? This is the one key open question remaining.
2. Prayer mat and qibla direction in villa. Available as standard or on request? (The mosque confirms on-island prayer access, but in-villa direction is a separate comfort.)
